At the helm of R&B's Steak and Fries are brothers Arman and Kris "Boo" Elliott. Originally from central New Jersey, the Elliott brothers spent their summers in Austin during the early '90s, eventually making it their permanent home in 2015 and 2017, respectively. Inspired by their culturally rich upbringing and the culinary void they noticed in Austin's cheesesteak offerings, they launched their food trailer on 5th Street in Downtown Austin in April 2019. Their hard work and commitment to delivering authentic East Coast flavors have culminated in serving thousands of satisfied customers and receiving several accolades, including the 2021 title for "Best Fries in ATX" from Austin Monthly and the "Best Cheesesteak in Texas" from Eat This, Not That! The sons of two military veterans, Arman and Boo credit their parents' patience, work ethic, and selflessness for shaping their entrepreneurial spirit.
