Scott is a retired Marine Sergeant Major. Scott is from Reading, PA which is just Northwest of Philadelphia. Scott retired in 2012 from the Marines and moved to Houston, TX with his wife. In 2017 he decided that Houston didn't have the taste of home when it came to cheese steaks. In 2017, he created his food truck called Quaker Steaks and hit the streets of Houston. After 5 years of running the food truck and being successful at the locations he serviced, he was afforded an opportunity to be a part of NRG stadium and the Texans. Scott is a part of the team that sells food at two concession stands which include his Philly Cheese Steaks and Wings. Now, after two years of being called Philly Flats inside of NRG, they opened up a brick and mortar in Katy, TX. Philly Flats serves an extensive menu with all the East Coast favorites!

Get that classic cheesesteak featuring thin sliced ribeye steak, seasoned and your choice of provolone or American cheese on an amoroso roll. Sink your teeth into our signature Quaker Steak, filled with grilled onions, fresh mushrooms and your choice of hot or sweet peppers. We are also known for our signature Wagyu burgers and Wings.
