The founder transitioned from a career in trucking to the culinary arts after losing his Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Initially operating a restaurant in historic downtown Sanger, Texas, Bear's Cafe faced challenges such as citywide blackouts and the need to build local support. Undeterred, the founder expanded their reach by adopting a food trailer in mid-2024, bringing their unique BBQ offerings to larger events and a broader audience.
DESCRIPTION
Bear's Cafe is a family-owned food truck based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, specializing in BBQ with a twist. They offer a variety of dishes, including their signature loaded mac n' cheese bowl with chicken or brisket, hand-smashed burgers, chicken sandwiches, and smoked brisket sandwiches with homemade BBQ sauce. Bear's Cafe also provides catering services and can accommodate various dietary needs.
