Food trucks for parties and celebrations
Birthdays, graduations, weddings and everything in between
Book a vetted local truck for a backyard birthday, a graduation open house or a reception. One truck, one invoice, and the price before you ask.

Every party books the same way: the date, the headcount and the address. What changes is the crowd and what the truck costs at that size.
Birthday parties
- Guests
- 20 to 60
- Cost
- The truck's minimum, usually $500 to $1,000
A 40-person backyard party pays for the truck's afternoon however many turn up, so the guest list can run long without the bill moving.

- Guests
- 50 to 75
- Cost
- $1,100 to $1,200 before tax
Open houses cluster on the same weekends from mid-May through June. Two graduates from one class often split a single truck and a single invoice.
Graduation party guideWeddings and receptions
- Guests
- 100 to 150
- Cost
- About $2,000 before tax
A truck for the reception, or a late-night pizza, taco or dessert truck as the second act once the plated dinner is done.

- Guests
- 150 to 300
- Cost
- Two trucks past 200 guests
Family taqueros with carne asada, al pastor and birria are the leading format in our Texas and Inland Empire markets. Several operators offer dedicated quinceañera packages.

- Guests
- 100 to 150 per truck
- Cost
- About $17 per guest before tax
Guests arrive in waves, so a menu that holds well between orders matters more than a long one. A public street needs a city permit; a private lot does not.

- Guests
- Under 75
- Cost
- The truck's minimum sets the bill
Smaller celebrations pay the minimum rather than a per-head price, which makes a dessert, coffee or ice cream truck the better fit for a crowd of 30.
How pricing worksWhat it costs
Real party prices, before tax
These are medians from paid bookings on the platform for events under 200 guests, not a quote. The per-person price falls as the crowd grows because a truck's fixed costs spread further.
The minimum is the number to plan around
Most trucks set a minimum spend of around $750, and seven in ten sit between $500 and $1,000. Below roughly 75 guests you are paying for the truck's afternoon whether 40 or 70 people turn up. Above that you are paying for food.
| Guest count | Typical total | Per person | What sets the price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 to 75 | $1,100 to $1,200 | about $21 | The minimum spend, not the headcount |
| 100 to 150 | about $2,000 | about $17 | Food, so tacos and sandwiches run cheaper than pizza or barbecue |
| 150 to 200 | about $2,600 | about $16 | A longer service window, or a second truck to keep lines short |
- Prices are before sales tax. Your invoice shows the tax for the event address.
- One invoice covers the event, however many trucks come.
- Card, ACH or invoice payment.
Hosting at home
What you need at home
Most parties happen in a driveway, a backyard or a rented hall without a kitchen. That is where trucks perform best, as long as four things are in place.
- 1
A level spot with about 12 feet of clearance
A driveway, the street in front of the house where your city allows it, or the venue's lot. We confirm placement with you before the day.
- 2
The owner's permission
On private property that is all a truck needs, plus the permit it already carries. A block party on a public street needs a permit from the city, so allow a few weeks.
- 3
Not much else
Most trucks are self-contained. They may need a flat, accessible parking area and occasionally a power outlet. Your coordinator confirms requirements in advance.
- 4
Less notice than you think
Most parties book a couple of weeks out, and we place week-of requests all the time. The one stretch to book early is graduation weekends in late May and June, when open houses stack up on the same Saturdays.
Have a weather plan: a covered spot for the line, or a date shift agreed early. Trucks serve in light rain; guests would rather not queue in it.

FAQ
Party and celebration FAQs
What hosts ask before they book
Can a food truck park at my house?
Yes. Trucks serve at homes, backyards and driveways every weekend. They need a level spot with about 12 feet of clearance and the owner's permission; on private property the truck's own permit covers the rest. We confirm placement with you before the day.
How much does a food truck cost for a party?
Paid bookings on the platform run about $1,100 to $1,200 for 50 to 75 guests, about $2,000 for 100 to 150 and about $2,600 for 150 to 200, before sales tax. Per person that is roughly $21 at 50 guests falling to about $17 at 150.
What is a minimum spend and does it apply to me?
Most trucks set a minimum of around $750, and seven in ten sit between $500 and $1,000. If your party is under roughly 75 guests, the minimum sets the bill rather than the headcount. Above that you pay for food.
How many guests can one truck serve?
One truck comfortably serves about 100 to 150 guests over a two-hour window. Past 200 guests, or when everyone eats at once, a second truck keeps lines short.
Can food trucks cater a wedding?
Yes, either as the reception meal or as a late-night truck once dinner is done. The wedding guide covers truck counts, venue logistics, timing and when a truck is the wrong choice.
How far ahead should I book?
Less than you think. Most parties book a couple of weeks out, and we place week-of requests all the time, so a late plan is not a lost one. The exception is graduation weekends in late May and June, when open houses stack up on the same Saturdays and the trucks you want go first.
What about kids, vegetarians and allergies?
Tell us on the form. Tacos, pizza and sandwiches are easy to make vegetarian, most trucks handle common allergies on request, and a dessert or ice cream truck covers the kids' table. Each truck's menu shows what it can do, so pick one that fits your crowd.
Do I need to provide anything for the truck?
Usually not. Most trucks are self-contained and bring their own power. They may need a flat, accessible parking area and occasionally an outlet. Your coordinator confirms the requirements in advance.
