David Fine
David Fine, a University of Pennsylvania graduate. In August 2013, he launched the food truck with a mission to combine quality bagels with social impact. Prior to this venture, Fine worked in the nonprofit sector, which inspired him to create a business model that donates a portion of proceeds to local charities. Under his leadership, Schmear It has expanded from a single food truck to include a brick-and-mortar location at 3601 Market Street in Philadelphia.

Schmear It is Philly’s one-of-a-kind bagel truck, serving up customizable bagel sandwiches with a twist. Customers can choose from a variety of fresh bagels, house-made schmears, and unique mix-ins to create their perfect bite. Whether you’re craving a classic lox and cream cheese combo or something more adventurous like honey, sriracha, and bacon, Schmear It brings a fresh and fun approach to breakfast and lunch on the go. Plus, they’re all about giving back—partnering with local charities to support the community with every purchase.
