Meet The Owner, Jonatan Garay

Jonatan is the founder and owner of Chilangos Tacos, which he started in 2019 after graduating from SMU. Inspired by the bold flavors, culture, and street-food energy of Mexico City, he set out to create a brand that would bring authentic tacos and a true chilango experience to the Dallas community. Since then, Chilangos Tacos has grown into a local favorite known for quality food, vibrant energy, and strong community connections. Through the Chilangos Taco Truck, Jonatan continues to bring that same flavor and corazón to festivals, weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations across DFW.
