When to Book

Recommended lead time
15–30 days before your event

The further ahead you book, the more trucks you'll have to choose from. Planning ahead is the best way to secure your top pick.

That said, shorter timelines work too—we book events just days out all the time. You'll just have fewer options to choose from.

Busy seasons: Spring and Fall are our most popular times in Philadelphia, so booking early gives you the best selection.

What does King of Acai serve?
King of Acai serves Dessert, Beverages and Latin.Popular menu items include Açai Berry Blast Smoothie, Condensado Açaí Bowl and King Açaí Bowl. Most servings run about $14 before tax.The full menu with current prices is above.
Is there a minimum order or guest count?
Yes, King of Acai has a minimum order of $2,500, which works out to roughly 186 servings at this menu's prices. This minimum covers essential costs including food preparation, staffing and setup time. For smaller gatherings, consider the attendee-pay option where guests purchase their own meals.
What is included in the catering price?
Your quote from King of Acai includes food preparation, serving supplies (plates, utensils, napkins), the truck's staff, and setup and breakdown. Some trucks charge a travel fee depending on how far the venue is; the truck will let you know if one applies. The per-serving prices on this page already include Food Truck Club's service fee; sales tax is added and the complete total is shown before you confirm.
How far in advance should I book King of Acai?
Fifteen to thirty days gives you the best shot at your first-choice date, and shorter timelines work too. Food trucks in Philadelphia book up fastest in spring and fall, and events with 100+ guests benefit from a little extra notice for menu planning and staffing.
What types of events does King of Acai cater?
King of Acai is new to Food Truck Club, so there are no platform bookings to show yet. Corporate lunches, employee appreciation days, community festivals, school and university events, and private celebrations around Philadelphia are all bookable from this page.
Where does King of Acai serve?
King of Acai is based in Philadelphia, PA and takes bookings across Philadelphia, Camden, Gloucester, Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, Burlington, Mercer, New Castle and Cecil Counties. Some trucks charge a travel fee depending on how far the venue is, so include the full event address in your request and the truck will let you know if one applies. For a venue outside this area, the truck will confirm whether it can make the trip.
Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or allergy-conscious options?
King of Acai lists gluten-free options and vegan options on its profile. Include a count for each in your booking request so the truck preps enough, and flag any allergies at the same time.
Do I need to provide any utilities (power or water)?
Usually not. Most food trucks arrive with their own generator, water tank, and cooking equipment, so a flat, accessible parking spot of roughly 12 by 25 feet is all they need. Some trailers and dessert carts do run on an outlet, so mention what your venue offers and King of Acai will confirm any hookups before the event.
What happens in case of bad weather or cancellation?
Rescheduling is the usual answer when weather turns, and we work with you and the truck to find a date. If the event has to be cancelled, the refund follows the cancellation policy above.
