When the pandemic closed dining rooms I converted our home kitchen into a MEHKO so I could keep cooking and still be home for my kids. I grew up in Oceanside in a Filipino household where family gatherings were the training ground, I spent more than a decade in professional kitchens learning smoke, wok, and grill techniques, including time as Executive Sous Chef at Valley View Casino and running culinary programs for assisted living facilities. Mel and I launched URBN Market Fusion in 2016, moved into pop ups in Temecula in January 2022, and put the truck on the road in March 2023. I handle operations and menu development, I compete when I can, and our team has earned Pinnacle awards, including first place in 2020. You’ll find me at farmers markets, wineries, and community events, working to build a business that supports our neighborhood.
