I'm Bri Alcantar, co-owner of Tacos Before Vatos, a family-run eatery in Crest Hill, Illinois. My husband, Marco, and I opened our first restaurant in May 2023, transforming a former nutrition shop into a vibrant space that reflects our heritage. Before this venture, I worked full-time for Bolingbrook Township, while Marco dedicated himself to building our business from the ground up. We expanded into a cantina at Clayton's Rail in Morris in February 2025, offering a full-service dining experience. Our journey has been a blend of hard work, community support, and a shared vision to create a legacy for our six children.
