About Cultura y Comida
We serve tacos that people wait in line for. I run a compact food trailer that turns out tacos, tortas, burritos, quesadillas, and aguas frescasand much more. Our carne asada, chicken and Al Pastor tacos are regulars on the order board. We also keep clear vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, and halal options marked so customers with restrictions can grab something without guessing. Cooking is done to order in the trailer. We do on-site service for events and catering. At a festival or a backyard party I set up the line, grill, and the condiments so guests can pick what they want. Portions are straightforward and the plates come ready to eat. I don’t fuss with fancy descriptions. We show up, we feed people, and we handle most dietary needs openly. If you need tacos for an event, we can do on-site service and menu selections that include the vegan and gluten free choices or customized menus.
Meet the owner

Terry and Anayeli Bencak
Owner, Cultura y Comida
I learned to roll tortillas standing in my mother in-laws kitchen. Nights helping at community events taught me how to read a crowd and keep service moving. My partner and wife Anayeli runs the kitchen, I handle permits and bookings, and together we keep the trailer steady when it gets busy. We operate out of Chicago and northwest Indiana and servicing all of the Midwest when we cater. I show up for the neighborhood because a hot meal at the corner can steady a week. Feeding neighbors keeps a small piece of our culture visible and makes the long nights worth it.
