Rudy Camacho

Owner, The Munchie Busters

Munchie Busters was founded in May 2022 by father-and-daughter team Rudy and Jeccel Camacho in San Antonio, Texas. The idea began with Jeccel's dream of starting a food truck and Rudy's belief that doing something you love makes work more rewarding. The name came about during a casual conversation when Rudy mentioned having the munchies, sparking the idea for Munchie Busters. Together, they built their business from the ground up, learning through hands-on experience, hard work, and determination. While running a food truck comes with long hours and challenges, their favorite part is attending events, meeting new people, and seeing customers enjoy their food. For Rudy and Jeccel, Munchie Busters is about following their passion, working together as a family, and bringing happiness to their community through food.

How far in advance should I book The Munchie Busters?
Fifteen to thirty days gives you the best shot at your first-choice date, and shorter timelines work too. Food trucks in San Antonio book up fastest in spring and fall, and events with 100+ guests benefit from a little extra notice for menu planning and staffing.
What types of events does The Munchie Busters cater?

Do I need to provide any utilities (power or water)?
Usually not. Most food trucks arrive with their own generator, water tank, and cooking equipment, so a flat, accessible parking spot of roughly 12 by 25 feet is all they need.
