Testimonials
What Our Clients Say
Real feedback from event organizers who booked through Food Truck Club
"Food truck was good! The individuals running the truck were hospitable, they arrived early, and all of our guests were satisfied. We got tacos, churros, and elote. My only critique is that the chicken tacos were incredibly dry. The al pastor and asada tacos were much better."

"The Route 66 Mobile Diner was excellent! The food was fresh and delicious, and everyone loved the sodas. The caterers were so friendly and accommodating. And the music was such a nice touch for our office luncheon! I would highly recommend!"
August 2026
"The staff that ran the truck was very friendly. The truck showed up ahead of time, probably about 1/2 hour before we were to begin serving and we went over the scenario in case we were to go over the amount requested. The wait was short and the food was good. The only downside I saw was that, at times, the cheese was not completely melted on the sandwiches. Otherwise, a very good experience with this vendor."

Seasonal Tips
Seasonal Booking Tips for Skokie Food Truck Catering
Skokie event planners should plan around seasonal demand in the Chicago metro. Here's how to get the best availability and pricing throughout the year.
Peak Season Planning
Spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) are the busiest seasons for food truck catering in Cook County. Book 4-6 weeks ahead during these months for the best truck selection.
Summer Heat Strategies
Summers in Skokie can be hot. For outdoor events, consider morning service before 11am or evening service after 5pm. Covered parking areas and shaded patios work well for midday events.
Off-Peak Opportunities
January and February offer the widest availability and sometimes better pricing. Great for launching a recurring food truck program at your Skokie office.

About Skokie
Why Skokie Loves Food Truck Catering
There's a reason food trucks have become the go-to catering choice for Skokie events. Skokie is a culturally diverse north suburb known for Westfield Old Orchard shopping, the Illinois Holocaust Museum, and one of the most ethnically varied communities in the Chicago area.
Local favorites like Middle Eastern, Asian Fusion, Mexican are always in demand, and venues like North Shore Center for the Performing Arts and Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park make perfect backdrops for outdoor food truck events.
Food Truck Club takes the guesswork out of booking by matching your event with trucks that know the Cook County area and can navigate local logistics smoothly.

- What technology does Food Truck Club use for booking and coordination?
- Food Truck Club is built on a purpose-built catering technology platform — the only one that lets you browse menus, see real per-person pricing, and book a food truck online in minutes with no phone calls required. Our platform handles automated vendor notifications, digital Stripe invoicing, and SMS and email updates throughout your event. - Can food trucks park in Skokie residential neighborhoods?
- In most Cook County residential areas, food trucks can park on public streets for private events. Some HOAs have specific rules. Check with your HOA or neighborhood and share any restrictions when booking.
- How many guests can one food truck serve at a Skokie event?
- A single food truck typically serves 75-150 guests in a 2-hour window, depending on the menu. For larger groups, we'll recommend additional trucks to keep lines short and food fresh.
- Is my payment secure when booking through Food Truck Club?
- Yes. Your payment is held securely and only released to the truck after your event. If anything goes wrong, our Satisfaction Guarantee protects you.
- Can I mix different cuisine types for my Skokie event?
- Yes! Multi-truck events let you offer variety — pair a BBQ truck with a taco truck, or add a dessert truck for something sweet. We help coordinate timing and logistics so everything runs smoothly.
- Are Chicago-based food trucks willing to travel to Skokie?
- Yes. Skokie is within the standard service area for most Chicago-area food trucks. At about 14 miles north Chicago, most vendors include Skokie in their regular coverage.
